Education/Experience
Graduated cum laude from Kenyon College with a BA in Psychology, 1975.
Graduated from UW-Madison with an MBA in Marketing and Management, 1983.
Worked six years in mortgage-related industries including new product development for a mortgage insurer, project management for a mortgage conduit, and operations manager in secondary marketing for a large savings and loan.
Received Wisconsin real estate license in 1991, passing the two tests with 98 and 95.
Have been selling residential real estate in the Madison area for over 17 years. With nearly 100 sold listings and over 125 sold homes, my real estate experience is extensive. Over the years, each of my listings and clients have received my best efforts and thoroughness because my goal is not real estate volume, but excellence.
Personal
I was born and raised in New Jersey. (No, the New Jersey Turnpike is not all there is to New Jersey. Some of it is quite rural and beautiful; some of it’s not.) We came to Madison in the now-surpassed record snow of 1978-79 for graduate school. Except for a four-year stint in Los Angeles that reinforced our love of Madison and gave us a strong dose of another reality, we’ve been here ever since.
My husband Tom has a PhD in English and edits courses for UW-Extension’s Distance Learning. My two boys, who have gone through the entire Madison school system, are a May, 2008 graduate of UW-Eau Claire and a Sophomore at UW-Madison. John graduated in four years(!) in Information Systems in May '08 and had four offers. He's already working at his second job, having been part of a major layoff. Peter is intensely studying Chemistry and Mandarin with a major in Biochemistry. Hot topics with me other than real estate are nutrition, health, and tasty foods to prepare and eat.
